Best last minute trip ever!
We were referred to Nico by a colleague. Thank goodness for him! Our previous plans had fallen through and were overall a mess, but he put together options and day trips that were amazing! His drivers Fred, Kevin, and Eliud were fantastic - they knew the routes, pointed out the interesting landmarks and animals we would never have noticed on our own, took us to fun shopping. We had to pivot multiple times as people added on or dropped out due to changes in travel plans, but they were ever responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this group. As for our trips, we did the Nairobi National Park safari and the giraffe experience one day, then Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island the next! East African Safari
February 2024 Wonderful and memorable experience 12 days of Kenya , Tanzania and Zanzibar safari. Niko and Susan- Destination Consultant planned an excellent trip to Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Zanzibar. They provided the perfect local touch with great food. Kenya Tanzania Safari
It was in fact 6 days compact tour. They accomplished many features within the stipulated time. Accommodation was great, food was nice. Everything was planned. We were welcomed with smile by Niko and Sami at the Nairobi Airport very first morning. Nice breakfast was served. Both the driver at Kenya and Tanzania were very polite, respectful and learned. However, driving was not a fun there!!!! We recommend other guests using Niko for your valuable Safar tour. Great local knowledge- high touch service!
Kenya Tanzania Safari was referred to me by a colleague who had worked with Susan and Niko in the Fall for their own family trip. He said they had done a very nice job - and I appreciated working with a “known” travel agent / safari specialist vs someone that I found through the internet. They did a very nice job both in the planning and the delivery of our 10 day trip to the Maasai Mara, the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro Crater. We did it all via email. They were very responsive - answered my questions - tweaked the itinerary - good recommendations for camps/lodges etc. We had great guides in both Kenya (Kaka) and Tanzania (Raymond). Vehicles were great - clean, water, charging ports etc. The guides clearly knew the area and the animals. The guides were great - very patient, friendly, high service. Logistics worked well - minor hiccups - we missed Niko at the airport but he quickly found us - we landed in the Maasi Mara and our guide was not there (but he showed up 15-20 min later). Make sure you bring layers - no fancy clothes needed - bring lots of cash for tipping guides and staff. We had a tracker/spotter in Kenya - not sure he was needed. It was good to have local Maasi guides in Kenya - they definitely knew the area. If you are driving South through the Serengeti get a reservation for the Olduvai Gorge - we did know we were going right by it and did not - a miss for sure. Also when you plan your itinerary- at some points the game drives can be a bit repetitive- mixing it up with the Olduvai Gorge, going to Mt Kilimanjaro or something would make sense.

Excellent experience withy KTS.
Excellent experience, we spent 5 days with KTS . We were picked up from Nairobi airport and guys took care of us during rest of the trip to Tanzania. We were tracking Kilimanjaro up to first base, visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro national parks + a day trip in Nairobi. Outstanding, Educational and Memorable Safari Experience
This was our second African safari, this time with ourselves as grandparents and two young teenage grandsons. It was fabulous, informative, relaxing, exciting, and most importantly, fun! Susan and Niko planned a well-paced, varying itinerary over six full days that allowed us to experience three Tanzanian National Parks. Each park provided scenic landscapes and unique animals within their environments. The accommodations were excellent and always safe, some with outdoor showers, and one with a large private pool. Susan and Niko were extremely excellent with communications and coordination, responsive to our questions and needs, explained the different aspects of the safari, and were flexible and adjusted schedules and transportation when needed. We could sense their pride in running their business and assuring the best experiences for their clients. Our guide for the entire safari was Raymond. He was exuberant, patient, passionate, and very knowledgeable, explaining all that we needed to know about each animal’s attributes, characteristics, and behavior. He knew how to be engagingly informative while providing appropriate cultural and environmental education. An Incredible Safari!
It’s been a couple of months since we returned from our private Kenya and Tanzania safari arranged by Kenya Tanzania Safari. Boaz and Susan were easy to communicate with and provided us with all the information we needed to make this a once in a lifetime trip. We were very impressed with all aspects of our safari, and especially with our guides Eliud and Raymond. They were fantastic guides! It was very obvious they both were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the parks and animals we saw. And we all learned so much about the animals and the Massai people. The tented camps were well equipped - internet was a plus! The food was excellent, as were all the staff at the camps. The EnkaKenya Camp was a real treat - we received first class service and meals there. We did have more “African massages” than we remembered from our 2009 safari to Kenya! Family of 3 generations trip of a lifetime!
This Kenya/Tanzania adventure offered our family of 3 generations memories of a lifetime! It was perfect in every way! The communication and coordination was flawless! All tour guides were a wealth of information and provided us with every piece of information and service we could have ever needed! All accommodations were great and the food was delicious and local! Masai Mara Safari
One of the best vacations ever! Ours was a 3 day safari and all the three days were extremely good! Eliud, our guide, gave us great tours and thanks to him we were able to see a lot of good sightings. It wasn't just seeing the animals but explaining the science behind them. Eliud was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about wildlife from him. We got to see 4 animals out of the Big 5. You'd be fortunate to have Eliud as your guide. Thank you so much!
